This time of the year, I find that the gifts of sweets, sauces, candies, cookies, and all things sugary are easy to come by when it comes to Christmas gifts. Today I thought I’d share with you a Neighbor Christmas Gift idea that is as practical, as it is non-sugar filled. I’m also giving you a free printable to go with it so you literally go to the grocery store, wrap up your package, and deliver it to your favorite neighbors or friends.
Because Christmas time is SO busy, one of my favorite ways to gift a neighbor some comfort and joy is to provide them with dinner for an evening…but without slaving away in the kitchen for 5 hours in order to do so! So I took one of our favorite easy weeknight dinner ideas and turned it into a way to gift joy this holiday season in the same way.
Neighbor Christmas Gift– What you need:
Ribbon
Frozen lasagna
Frozen or fresh garlic bread
Bag of salad
Easy dessert of choice (optional)
How to assemble the best neighbor gift idea:
I started by printing out the free printable gift tag sheet and cutting it out. Then I assembled my package. Start with your lasagna on the bottom, then add your bag of lettuce, and garlic bread on top. As an optional idea, add a sweet treat like a bag Christmas candy or a box of brownies. You could also add something like popcorn if you wanted to go the salty route!
Once assembled, I used some pretty ribbon to tie it up pretty with a bow on top, I add my tag to it, then I gift it to our neighbors for a way to enjoy a dinner stress-free during the holidays!! Trust me, they will appreciate it!
The nice thing about this gift is that it takes no time at all and is an easy last minute gift idea for neighbors and friends.
